So we're here at a posh French restaurant. Just done soundcheck at Southpaw club. Yesterday's show in Hoboken, N.J. went well, but it's so small! We played there in 96 and it was small even then. We got to meet Mr Bill Ryan again, he's the guy who appears on that big cardboard picture on the LGBD sleve. He's even older now, but seemed to be quite well. Nina's voice is a little rough but she went to get some sushi, hope it makes her feel better. Lasse, Bengt & I just made some movie clips with Assaf, please don't takem 'em too seriously...
It's real fun to play the new songs "For The Boys" & "Less Like Me". Don't know if you guys like 'em as much as we do. We just like to play fresh material. We're artists right? :)
It's great to be back in NYC again, Haven't been here for 3 years. US isn't all that bad you know! :)
Certain things to be done, having a strawberry margharita at Benny's Burritos on 6th Street & Ave A, getting the first frappuchino at Starbucks, go shopping for DVDs at Tower. We haven't things like that back home you know...
Tomorrow's Bowery Ballroom in the lower east side, think that Bengt will take me to the Great Jones Bar for some cajun food before that. Then hop on the tourbus & head for Boston, Mass.
Hope bus life won't bore us, it's been nice to stay at the Holiday Inn downtown.
